ABSTRACT
To summarize the clinical characters of optic neuritis caused by antituberculosis drugs, and to discuss the prevention countermeasures. ● METHODS: The clinical characters of optic neuritis caused by antituberculosis drugs among those outpatients and ward patients from January 2003 to January 2013 were reviewed and analyzed. ● RESULTS: Optic neuritis caused by antituberculosis drugs was rare ( 17 / 60000 ), while retrobulbar neuritis was common. The drugs inducing optical neuritis were mainly ethambutol, followed by isoniazid and streptomycin. The vision of patients would have different degrees of improvement via the following treatment after specific diagnosis, i. e. , timely stopping the tuberculosis medicine associated with optic neuritis, and taking vitamin supplements, dilating blood vessels and applying hormone therapy according to the illness. ●CONCLUSlON: We should pay attention to the change of the vision of patients during the usage of antituberculosis drugs. ln the case of sudden eyesight deterioration, ophthalmology examination and timely treatment are advised preventing blindness.
ABSTRACT
Objective To investigate the differences of protein and mRNA expression of matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) in osteoclasts (OC) and osteoclast-like cells (OLC) obtained by mechanical and inducement methods. Methods Mechanical separation method was used to separate mature osteoclasts from long bones of SD rats aged one-day;and inducement culture method was applied to induce OLC by using RANKL (100 ng/mL) and M-CSF (100 ng/mL) . The protein expression of MMP-9 was measured by immunocytochemistry and mRNA expression of MMP-9 was assayed by in situ hybridization. Results The integral optical density (IOD) and average optical density (AOD) of positive cells in the visual field were higher in the 12-d group of inducement method as compared with the 3 d-group of mechanical method. Conclusions It is suggested that the protein and mRNA expression of MMP-9 in OLC obtained by 12 d inducement method is much high than in OC obtained by 3 d mechanical method. OLC obtained by inducement method can be applied in the study of osteoporosis.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Korea overcame the aftermath of the war and laid the foundations for modernization of economy and professionalization of medicine. The National Medical Services Law, enacted in 1951 was the first medical law to be legislated since the establishment of the Republic of Korea. The law provided a medical system for the traditional Korean medical practitioners, activated opening of hospitals through report-only system and prohibition of interference in medical practice, and facilitated mobilization of the doctors by the government. The Medical Law, legislated in 1962 by the Park Jong-Hee administration contained practice license system, regular practice reporting system and practice designation, thereby strengthening the government control on the medical practitioners, inducing professionalism and high-quality of medical practitioners and abolished unlicensed medical practitioners such as acupuncturists, moxa cauterists and bone setters. The Medical Assistant Law of 1963 was introduced so that medical examination and assistance could be carried out under supervision of professional doctors. To reduce areas without healthcare system, region-specified medical practitioners got licensure and a community doctor system was organized. However, due to expensive medical fees in comparison to economic status and medical needs of patients, shortage of doctors, low accessibility to hospitals led to the prevalence of illegal medical practice by unlicensed practitioners. Absence of national budget or policy on the health care system and the American-style noninterference medical system were other factors causing the situation. Government, Korean Medical Associations and Korean Dental Association tried, without success, to exercise control over the unlicensed medical practice. President Park Jong-Hee had to introduce a special law concerning the health-care related crimes with life sentence as the highest penalty. While the government put modernization before social welfare, operated on a policy of state-controlled medical care system, and doctors achieved specialization system similar to that of the United States, the public had to suffer, being treated by unlicensed medical practitioners. Inevitably, the need for a national medical practitioner supply plan and a policy to support health service was raised.

Objective To investigate the common cause,inducement and treatment response in patients with status epileptic(SE) in children,in order to improve the level of prevention and treatment of the disease.Methods Valium and chloral hydrate be used in the patient untreated,followed with luminal.Deparkin injection be used in the patient uncontrolled,followed with syrup.Results Of 21 patients,3 cases with epilepsy hadn′t been treated;6 cases with epilepsy hadn′t been treated regularlly;3 cases with epilepsy place respiratory infection;4 cases were the first attack with no inducement;3 cases were suffering from viral encephalitis.Four cases with epilepsy were died who hadn′t been treated regularly.Deparkin might be helpful in treatment with SE,but poor control in patients with long time attacks.Conclusions The attack and prognosis of SE are closely relative to original sick.It is important to prevent the attack.Early diagnosis is the key factor to improve prognosis.
ABSTRACT
Objective To study the inducement and prognosis of pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrom(PIH) with heart failure. Methods The clinical data of 13 patients suffered from PIH-related heart failure were retrospectively analysed. Results PIH-related heart failure was associated with no regular antenatal care, anemia, hypoproteinemia, infection of respiratory tract and fluid infusion overloading. There is no maternal mortality in 13 patients.The main prenatal diseases included asphyxianeonatorum (53 84%) low-birth weight(53 84%) and IUGR(31%). Conclusion Regular antenatal care and cardiac function monitoring should be strengthen in patients with PIH. Preventing anemia, and hypoproteinemia, treating the infection and reducing heart load could promote maternal and fetal quality in patients with PIH.

Objective To purify and rejuvenate the plant of Curcama kwangsiensis,improve the transplantation survival rate of cultivars,and make the convenience of storagement and management for the cultivars production.Methods The rhizome plantlet formation of C.kwangsiensis was induced by regulating both of macro-element and sucrose concentration in the MS culture medium.Results Both of them were very important influence factors on the rhizome plantlet formation of C.kwangsiensis.Media 1/2 MS and 6% sucrose were adaptable to the rhizome plantlet formation of C.kwangsiensis,had the best effects on the formation rate of the rhizome plantlet,diameter and direct transplanting rate of the rhizome plantlet.Both plantlet and root system development were stronger.Conclusion In the present research,it is successful in inducing the rhizome plantlet formation of C.kwangsiensis.

Objective: To examine the effect of attributional style on individual’s state anxiety after failure. Methods: Rosenberg self-esteem scale was applied to select 122 subjects from 216 college students. The question was solved by combining the method of questionnaire inquiry with an experiment, and the data was analyzed by t-test and ANOVA.
